RECOMMENDED STUDENT LAPTOPS:
Today’s students are no longer the people our educational system was designed to teach.
Marc Prensky
For students a laptop can be as important as pen and paper. As laptops are this important for students there are a few things to think about before you purchase such as size, battery life, durability, specs and a few others.
Battery life, build quality, weight and 2 in 1 capabilities are some of the general requirements of a student laptop. The laptops on this list were chosen based on the above mention qualities with specs being the secondary need (the specs are still competitive for the price). Laptops above 15.6” were left off the student laptop list as above 15.6” would lose some of its portability.

“We live in a screen age, and to say to a kid, ‘I’d love for you to look at a book but I hate it when you look at the screen’ is just bizarre. It reflects our own prejudices and comfort zone. It’s nothing but fear of change, of being left out.”
